What is a disbursement?
A disbursement is an additional cost to the client and payable to a third party such as a barrister, court, tribunal, Home Office, Land Registry, any Government department and even a courier for delivering documents.
Good to know
- Fees for probate, immigration, employment tribunal and debt recovery are shown plus VAT and disbursements.
- Conveyancing fees are fixed, with VAT shown at 20%. Items marked N/A do not attract VAT.
- Disbursements are payable to third parties such as the Land Registry, courts, tribunals or the Home Office, and are in addition to our fees.
